To provide investors with the advantages of all three market capitalizations (large cap, mid cap, and small cap) without any market cap bias, Whiteoak Capital Flexi Cap Fund is an open-ended dynamic equity scheme investing across the big cap, mid cap, and small-cap stocks. No set percentage is allocated to any market capitalization, industry, or investing strategy. Based on the underlying principles of businesses and their potential for long-term growth, the fund manager can determine the actual portfolio exposure to individual firms. The plan aims to put together a portfolio that might assist investors in taking advantage of growth prospects.

Fund Manager Profiles

Mr. Ramesh Mantri

Ramesh has 19 years of expertise in financial research and investing across industries. Ashoka Capital Advisers, which Ramesh established, provided advice to family offices and funds on equity investments in South Asia. Before this, he was a member of the two-person team that spent more than seven years investing equity and debt for the US-based hedge fund Alden Global Capital in South Asia. He formerly worked as an analyst at CRISIL, India's top rating agency specializing in the financial industry and majority owned by Standard and Poor's. Ramesh has an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies in Delhi, is a Chartered Accountant, and holds the CFA charter.

Ms. Trupti Agrawal

Since beginning her career as a statutory auditor with Ernst & Young's Indian affiliate, S. R. Batliboi & Co., Trupti has accrued 12 years of work experience. Later, she joined L&T Infrastructure Finance Limited's credit team, where she was in charge of assessing credit for significant projects and corporate financing transactions involving infrastructure, resources, and capital goods. Before joining White Oak Capital, she was an entrepreneur and ran her own e-commerce business.

Mr. Piyush Baranwal

About 13 years of Piyush's expertise are in fixed-income fund management. His most recent position was Head-Fixed Income at BOI AXA Investment Managers before he joined Whiteoak Capital Asset Management Limited. He began his career with Principal PNB AMC and worked as a portfolio manager at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Piyush holds a B.E. in Electronics and Communication from MIT Manipal and a postgraduate certificate in business management with a finance concentration from SPJIMR Mumbai. Additionally, he has finished the CFA certification program offered by the CFA Institute, USA.
